		<description>Project: SHIFTING GROUNDSWork: Experimental/Essay Film, 8’Location: CHDate: 2025

*Currently in distribution* EN:
SHIFTING GROUNDS is an experimental essay film told from the perspective of peat, a living archive shaped by water, time and slow transformation. Tracing the history of wetlands from the last Ice Age to the present, the film observes how human intervention has drained, built upon and altered these fragile grounds.

Through layered images and a finely composed sound design, SHIFTING GROUNDS reflects on care, decay, and resilience. It asks what can emerge in landscapes marked by human intervention, yet still carrying traces of life.
DE:

Shifting grounds is a two-part work consisting of an essay film and live performance that explores the future of wetlands. EN:
‘small talk’ is a transmedia film project that explores the topics of closeness, exchange and loneliness. At its heart is a short film about a system that forces strangers to engage in dialogue in order to gain access to public life. In the midst of this, the friends Laya and Emil are confronted with the question of how honest conversations can be in such a system – and what really makes a deep relationship. A real dialogue chamber and short-form content on social media bring the story to life – in space, online, and in conversation.

DE:
Credits:

<description>Project: GlimmerWork: Experimental ShortfilmLocation: Aarhus, DKDate: 2024

Details: The film explores the idea of how metal and it’s immortality contrast with the finite nature of human existence. It asks the question: What makes human life meaningful in the face of its brevity? How do the stories of our ancestors, ingrained within us, shape our perception of the present, and which stories do we carry within us for the future?

The collaborative poem, crafted by writers, friends, and family worldwide, paired with experimental visuals invites viewers to ponder the enigmatic essence that lingers long after we're gone.
The film is a collaboration with the jewellery designer Lisa Billander.

All jewellery is available to buy or rent on her website.
